A lot of people make bases/businesses to protect their Printers, Weed, Meth or whatever they’re hiding in there, so if you wanna choose the Raider life while yes you’ll earn LOTTA MONE, you’ll gotta have a lot of armor, good weapons etc. Criminals have a very low paycheck (0-100$) while a police officer has about 500$ to 12500$ depending on the server and role, but criminals can do stuff that no citizen or police can do… Crimes.You can do 2 types of crimes, The 1st is what i like to call Grinding which is basically either selling weed, meth, printing money, kidnapping and basically earn money while you’re inside your base, the second one is Raiding.
You can work for the goverment! you can become a Police Officer, FBI and even become the Mayor/President! If you’re working for the goverment it’s very recommended to not go corrupt, since if you start buying printers, making shady deals and starting to use your role just to be above everyone else, then there will be a time when you’ll get caught, demoted and probably lose everything. The Goverment category is pretty self-explanatory.
What is a backup plan you might ask? well… like i said DarkRP is a roleplaying game that takes place in a corrupt society where everyone is trying to earn money anyway possible, yes you might be a citizen but its highly recommended to have an Underground Business (illegal guns, printers, casinos, bars), but if you’re not into that thing, then its fine! just remember that it’ll be harder for you to mantain a business without a backup plan. And by smort i mean making a back up plan. But even if you open a business, you’ll have a hard time mantaining it if you don’t play s m o r t. A lot of people choose Citizen Jobs such as Chef, Medic, Gun Dealers with the mindset of opening their own business, making alliances etc. Citizens have the easiest jobs but don’t earn a lot of cash.
